This past weekend I attended my first pop-up shop, and let me tell you all. While it was nothing short of amazing, I am TIRED. The weekend started with my Fiance and I moving out of our apartment ALL day Saturday. And a 12-hour day in the Florida heat on Sunday. Just an FYI, it is Tuesday, and I'm still feeling my body recover from all of the hustle and bustle.
Before this event, I didn't do much research. I honestly wanted to go in, open-minded with little to no expectations. I had my long list of supplies needed, and other than that, the experience was fair game. We prepared in the sense of decor etc., but mentally I was not ready for what the day had in store.
I don't want to come off as ungrateful or unhappy. I am quite the opposite but feel the importance of sharing the REALNESS of an FL event in mid-August. Preparing for this pop-up took a couple of weeks, and for it to have already passed is CRAZY. There were hundreds of vendors, people, + food trucks, and overall it was a 10/10 experience. With a few minor hiccups, of course, lol. Late arrival, tent malfunctions, card reader issues, and OH, the minor hurricane that came through the event with little to no warning... All of these things were a lesson well learned, and I am so grateful to have been able to experience it all.
My first 904 Pop Up was an experience I will never forget as a new business owner. I appreciate all the smiling faces that walked into our booth <3
